Andrew has played a leading role in developing Michigan’s Industrial Decarbonization Roadmap, coordinating policy roundtables, labor and utility working groups, stakeholder outreach, and collaboration with organizations including the Michigan Office of Climate and Energy (OCE), RMI, industry representatives, utilities, labor organizations, and environmental advocates. 

Andrew’s work combines policy development with analytical modeling to evaluate pathways for reducing industrial greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining economic competitiveness. His recent projects include designing industrial modernization and decarbonization grant programs, assessing electrification and clean heat strategies, supporting emissions modeling, and developing recommendations that advance Michigan’s climate goals through practical, implementation-focused solutions. He also helps translate technical research into actionable policies by facilitating stakeholder discussions, synthesizing feedback, and building consensus among diverse interests across industry, government, labor, and the clean energy community.
