All is well with the Volt. I was lucky enough to be able to charge it at work (at the Michigan Public Service Commission) once this week. I may get to charge it at NextEnergy tomorrow. I’m getting 32 miles off my nighttime charges right now. I then charged it at the fast charging station at MPSC for 2.5 hours and got another 15 miles.
I have used gas but have not filled the tank yet.
It’s been a tough week at home with sick kids and a dog who tore his ACL (seriously…needs surgery!), so I haven’t been able to do much of the fun things with the car. I did get the log-in for OnStar which lets me (GM) track the mileage and collect more information on how the car is functioning. I’d like to follow the numbers more, hopefully next week.
I’m REALLY enjoying the drive. It is very smooth and comfortable. And the pickup is phenomenal! I have had guest drivers this week, too. My Dad was down for dinner and got the first test drive (Thanks, Dad!).
